2nd Annual Pup Ruck 5K Run/Walk

Register online to reserve your spot in the race! The first 200 registrants get a free event t-shirt!

Join Service Dogs for Patriots for the Second Annual Pup Ruck 5K Run/Walk presented by One Team One Fight 4 PTSD on Saturday, November 10th from 10am-noon.

By joining the Pup Ruck, you are helping Service Dog for Patriots fulfill its mission to serve and support the veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) living in North Central Florida by providing qualified dogs and/or service dog training to them and their dog - thereby improving the quality of life for the veteran and family. Through your participation and generous fundraising efforts, Service Dogs for Patriots is able to provide specially trained service dogs to veterans battling PTSD at no cost to the veteran. With your help, we can continue to provide this much needed treatment option to veterans, giving them hope for a better tomorrow.

The Pup Ruck is open to all skill levels and families. You are encouraged to compete with a rucksack to show support of veterans battling PTSD. (A rucksack is a military-style backpack, usually weighing around 50 pounds, used in military operations.) If you don't have a rucksack, please bring your dog and compete with your best buddy. The 5K race is a run/walk at your pace in Gainesville, Florida.

We greatly appreciate all of our business and community partners who are making this event possible! Thank you VyStar Credit Union, One Team One Fight 4 PTSD, and Reliable Painting!
